Description
ActiveBatch (Redwood Software) is an enterprise workload automation platform used to schedule, orchestrate, and monitor batch jobs, file transfers, and cross-platform workflows across on-premises and cloud environments. Operations teams depend on it to run financial close processes, ETL pipelines, backup routines, and other time-sensitive work on predictable schedules.

Foglight for ActiveBatch gives enterprises a live representation of the ActiveBatch environment in Foglight — schedulers, queues, jobs, plans, and execution results in one console with performance tracking and historical context.
The solution leverages the Foglight Rules Engine to alert on availability problems, job failures, backlog growth, and poor performance before they cause missed windows or downstream business impact. As with all Foglight solutions, it runs as a native Foglight process on the Foglight Agent Manager (FglAM), independent of the monitored ActiveBatch servers, and can be combined with database and application cartridges for end-to-end visibility.
