Foglight for MySQL provides comprehensive performance monitoring, diagnosis, and analytics for virtualized and non-virtualized MySQL databases. Gather detailed information on all MySQL instances running on or associated with Foglight monitored hosts. Foglight for MySQL gives DBAs the information required to quickly detect, diagnose, resolve, and report on performance issues - wherever, whenever, and however they occur - with minimal footprint and without agent overhead drag on monitored hosts.

Data is collected and displayed through a comprehensive set of dashboards. Global views list all MySQL instances in the enterprise with at-a-glance health indicators alongside key performance indicators. The Statements Digest provides administrators with the ability to understand the performance of all queries, associated resource consumption, and execution times and frequency. Individual database information is arranged logically depicting the flow of data within the database, with performance information for Connections, Query Cache, Sorts, Thread Pool, Buffer Pool, and Storage Engine.

The dashboards display critical MySQL statistics alongside those collected from the underlying hosts to provide a complete view of the health of individual databases as well as the underlying systems. These dashboards are complemented by the solution's rules package - an out-of-the-box set of best practices for alerting operators and administrators of potential issues.
